If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or negative feelings, one of the ways you can help calm your mind, is by active practicing of a mental state.

Mindfulness is the awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom. Creating positive, unconditional regard.

One of the foremost teachers of Mindfulness is Jon Kabat Zinn, who provides excellent introductions and training on Mindfulness.
